Main Duties of the Job

Prepare and dispense medications under pharmacist supervision 

  • Manage stock control and maintain accurate records 
  • Assist with audits and compliance checks 
  • Support medication administration processes 

Work collaboratively with pharmacists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals

Person Specification

Education and Training – Essential

  • NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent 
  • GPhC registration 

Knowledge and Experience – Essential 

  • Experience in dispensing and stock management 
  • Understanding of medicines legislation and governance 

Skills and Abilities 

  • Excellent organisational skills 
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities 
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office and pharmacy systems) 

Personal Qualities 

  • Professional attitude 
  • Positive approach to change 
  • Non-judgemental and respectful 

Applicant Requirements 

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
